Santa Please Let Me Fly

Tuxy Doe was a small penguin who always wished he could fly.

He heard the story of Christmas from a whale he knew was wise.

The whale had swam to far oceans where Tuxy just couldn't go.

Wise Whale told Tuxy of Santa Claus he had met in the far north snow.

Wise Whale told Tuxy the story of the patron saint of the child.

Who flew with his magic reindeer around the world so wide.

He brought with him presents and candy and even sometimes he would

Grant just one wish of a special child who had been especially good .

So write to him

Santa please let me fly

Like other birds in the sky

I can swim in the water I'm grateful for that

but Santa please let me fly.

Santa please let me zoom.

Halfway up to the moon.

I can slide down a hill side I'm grateful for that

but Santa please let me zoom.

Soon it was almost December, Tuxy Doe had been good all year.

So He wrote to Santa a letter with his wishes made very clear.

He gave to Wise Whale the letter who said that he would rush

all the way up to the end of the world and give it to Santa Claus

The letter said

Santa please let me fly

On Christmas Eve Tuxy heard it. A Jingle came from the sky.

And quick as a flash he was in Santa's sleigh looking down and he started to cry.

Tuxy sang

Santa you're letting me fly

Like other birds in the sky

I can see my friend Wise Whale oh thank you my friend

for Santa is letting me fly.
